Terms of service

The Wall (wall.karthick.xyz) is an interactive 3D gallery room run by Karthick, an individual maker. Makers pay once to hang their software product in a wooden frame on the room’s wall. By buying a placement you agree to these terms.

What you buy

A placement is one frame that shows your product logo, product name, product link, your display name, an optional X handle and the amount you placed. You choose the amount in US dollars, from $1 to $2,500, and pay once. Tax may be added at checkout. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

How long your frame stays up

Placements are permanent. Your frame stays on the wall for as long as The Wall is online, with no renewal fee. It can only be taken down for the reasons listed under “Content rules” below, or if the payment is refunded or disputed.

How frames are ordered

Frames are ordered by amount placed, fifteen to a page. A larger placement made later can move your frame to a later page. A placement does not guarantee visits, clicks, sign-ups, sales or a particular position.

Content rules

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the logo, name and link you submit, and you let us display them on The Wall and in previews of it. Products that are illegal, sexual, gambling or betting services, investment or crypto-trading schemes, malware, scams, or that impersonate someone else are not allowed. We may remove a frame that breaks these rules, whose link later points to such content, or that a rights holder validly asks us to remove. If your product’s link or logo changes, email us and we will update it.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment and any tax. We never see your card details. A placement is a paid listing. It is not a donation or an investment, and it gives you no repayment, profit share, equity or other financial return.

Refunds

Placements are final. See the refund policy for the exceptions.

Your data

The privacy policy explains what is shown publicly and what stays private.

Liability

The Wall is provided as is. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a placement is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Changes never shorten a placement that has already been bought.
